Maybe it was too bright to see. Maybe... oh, I don't know. See what you think about
this photo.
I'd like to be among the first to predict that within a couple of weeks (and after his inevitable and culturally depressing Oscar win tonight) Al Gore will announce his candidacy for President. Lord help us.
There is no more blatantly self-congratulatory, quasi-masturbatory exercise to be seen on the planet than the Academy Awards. The troubling and depressing thing to consider, as with the Anna Nichol coverage, is not that TV covers these inane and vapid spectacles, but rather their most assuredly correct assessment of their ability to attract a huge sloppy, dripping slice of the idiot-rich American viewing public. Wow. Just wow.
Many of you may not know that the international Jewish conspiracy has deeply embedded roots in American...cartoons!! You laugh, but wait!! Watch
this and be informed, you silly, silly ignorant people!! My own theories involve
Yogi Bear, Boo-Boo (representing the running dog lackeys of the bourgeoise) and poor, tormented Mr. Ranger (obviously meant to be the united workers of the world). I'm still working on the metaphors. Suggestions?
This seems like a real stretch: finding
something to like about Al "the Goracle" Gore's international campaign promoting "An Inconvenient Truth." The definition of damning with faint praise, I'd say.
